Is the hotseat a block of ice?

When I first heard the word "hotseat" I was under the quick literal impression that somebody wil be sitting in a chair with a steaming water but it..i was wrong, it turns out that its a bunch of burned charcoal whooa!

Im ready for a hotseat : ) but please be gentle hehehe
