In the eyes of a child: The CompE Council Outreach Project at Parian

Its my first time to be in this out reach project coz the las ttime we had this I was at home, anyways, it was around 8:45 when I arrived at school wearing my fave paratrooper pants and I saw John waiting for me at the guard house and got 2 plastic of light food for the snacks later..

Before we arrive at our destination we stopped at Gaisano COuntry Mall for some safe and scary reasons or shall I say a conspiracy of a "going to be " a robbery at our transportation, kasi John told me that the guy infront nako had a gun. Me, the most stupid na wa kabantay na naa diay and honestly don't know "where the gun is" just calm down and acted to that I forgot to buy something so that's why we dropped by at Country Mall. Frankly, it was scary but I don't want something like that ruin my morning right?

Upon arriving at Parian, I've met the kids and Ate Alma, She was our chaperon on our trip to SM kanina. at was 11:45 when we started the program due to some rain that caused the other to get stuck in the traffic or they overslept and woke up late but whatever it is the show must go on! Kahit na hindi sya nakatugma sa time frame John planned. We started with a prayer then got ourselves introduced to the kids and viceversa... I accidentally become the mc ala "Kuya Gary" during the whole program so had Trip to Jerusalem then took some light snacks and then continued the game with Newspaper Dance and Pass the Jar of Candies. The kids knows these games so once the music starts playing everything just went automatic and ended fast thus giving time to go at SM.

Because of engine problems we decided to ride the Kaoshiung Bus (is the spelling right?). Grabe! ang saya sa bus! jammin kaayo sila pati kaming mga volunteers na sina Van, Canence, Stanley, Manuel, Tonet, Me, ramon and John singed along as well lets see we sang perfect, then mr suave, forevers not enough marami pa they like alternative songs pala. Whee my voice got sored through all that singing and shouting hhehee

At SM, we ate at Majestic and while we we're waiting for the food, John suggested to teach the kids on how to use chopsticks (even I don't know it) we'll while we're having a blast of a meal (I tell you the food here is great!). my friend texted me that he's at Sm as well so I met him up at the entrance of the resto and chat and did some kakulitan blues with my od time frind I missed him a lot I can say he change a bit... maybe becuase of the hair, anyways, we shared our see you alter and headed to the Dept. store where we buy the kids some things they needed like clothes, shoes etc. After that we escorted them at the parking area where their transpo to their home is waiting for them, we exchanged good byes with our new found little kulitin friends and we also parted ways and go ahead to our next destination...

Stuff in my mind right now

I was happy though tiring and back bone breaking experience I had for almost pila ka years, I never thought that taking care of these guys we're tiring .. I mean REALLY tiring but you know what? just by looking at their innocent faces, their energetic "gara-on garr" attitude not to mention their cute smiles bungal man o di parang mapapawi ang kapaguran mo karga dito karga doon kulitan dyan kulitan doon ay grabe! I felt like Its my child in the future.. I can see it now...While we we're on our way to sm and seeing these kids jam like there's no problem in the world makes me think that masarap cguro maging bata ulit no... walang problema, sabay ka sa kanta, no responsibilities at kahit na ganyan man ang mangyari sa kanila beyond thier challenges and trials they still got the strength and energy to be them and stand for their dreams.

My best friend Mhonie from Manila texted at around 8:15 telling me that my ex is leaving for Guam tomorrow at 11pm... shit! no way!

Hi leigh! if ever you come across this message I guess you're right nagbabaha ng luha dito sa cafe (baduy no?). I was shocked sa text ni best... like you said "biglaan". well wala naman akong magagawa di ba? like I said.. I cannot be there to stop you... but you know naman di ba? mapapsagasa talaga ako sa eroplano tigilan ka lang but on the other side of the coin its for the good for the both of us. I have to admit... you'll going to need it.. for your nursing course naks! bilib naman ako sayo nursing sa Guam pa hahah... and cguro you can gather up your thoughts and maybe wake up one day na hindi lang ako ang pwedeng magpatibok ng puso mo... hindi lang ako ang pwedeng magmahal sayo... at hindi ako ang taong makakasam mo habang buhay alam mo yan. kahit na maraming taon ang nakalipas.. .hindi tayo nagkita... maraming nagbago hindi ko pa rin masasabing karapat dapat ako sayo right? Inaamin ko... nung tumawag ka.. bumilis tibok ng puso ko... anticipation cguro yeah I missed you and guess I'll be missing you more sa Guam. Ha! Siguro after two years, may kasama ka nang syotang kastila ha! Seriously, I wish you the best sa Guam... I love you.... kahit alam kong hindi karapat dapat... I miss you kahit masakit maalala... Ingat k hey! keep in touch may friendster ka naman make that our line of communication ok naks! parang penpal galing Guam! Salamat... nagkita tayo ulit...nakausap ka ulit sana makapiling ka ulit
